DocuNECT™ is an electronic document capture and management solution that allows seamless capture of any content to an organization’s document management system.

Today, organizations face the challenge of handling business critical electronic content from customers, external business partners, and business applications. Keeping pace with changing file formats and business requirements can result in a series of piece meal solutions which can be difficult to support. This process of bringing information delivered via FTP, secure FTP, email, websites, and other sources into the document management system can be time consuming.

Users also need a way to automate the capture and organization of electronic content from the desktop with easy integration into Microsoft Office and Windows.

DocuNECT is integrated into the Microsoft Windows desktop (XP or Vista) allowing users to:

  • Print documents directly into a document management system from any print enabled application

  • Send documents directly to indexing within Microsoft Windows explorer

  • Drag and drop emails and/or attachments from Microsoft Outlook

In addition to desktop tools, documents can also be automatically captured from:

  • FTP or Secure FTP Sites

  • Email (POP3, IMAP, and MS Exchange)

  • Multi-function devices and fax servers

  • And more...

DocuNECT’s powerful business rules can be used to index documents captured automatically or from the desktop by extracting data from the content of a document, external database or business application
